Looking
to be one of the fresh faces in
Hip Hop Music... Bobby
Katz
Bobby
Katz
was born Nathan J. Trott on September
11, 1982. Bobby
is Italian and German decent and
his parents are named Susan and
Timothy. Raised in the small city
of Erie, Pennsylvania, Bobby's
family has always been considered
middle class. Bobby's
household was always hectic with
four other siblings around also
(Kristen, Matthew, Ashley, Brittney).
It seemed like Bobby Katz
was always destined for stardom.
Bobby
wrote his first rhyme in 1998 exactly
three days after he received his
first Hip-Hop album from one of
his best friends. "I was just
listening to the beat when my first
bar popped in my head," Bobby
says. Bobby was
mostly into the punk rock scene
at the time and was getting tired
of the sound. He wrote that first
bar down and it was off from there.
Bobby then went
on to form a rap group named "Kase3"
with the help of his buddies Chris
and Dre. Bobby
was actually kicked out of the group
because the other members did not
think that his "rhymes"
were up to par. An upset Bobby
Katz (13 at the time) vowed
never to let anybody listen to his
"rhymes" until there was
no possible way anyone would be
able to say that he wasn't good
enough.
Skip
ahead to 2005...
After spending
years on his craft, (staying up
late where no one would see what
he was doing, hiding his rhyme books,
and basically not telling a single
soul he was still rapping). Bobby
knew it was time to hit a studio
and show the world what he was made
of. Bobby became
a true student of Hip-Hop music,
studying his idols. They include
such artists as Jay-z, Tupac, Nas,
Cam'ron, Eminem, Kanye West and
Snoop Dogg. He studied their delivery,
style, and any quality that set
them apart from the rest. He has
since found his own niche over those
years of studying, writing, and
making songs and now can be compared
to some of the great Hip-Hop artists
of today.
Bobby's
music can be described as entertaining,
inspirational, moving, evolutionary,
and socially conscious. Bobby
considers himself a true artist,
always putting whatever he is feeling
at the time into his songs. Bobby
has also performed in many venues
in many cities including Erie, Cleveland,
Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and New
York City. He is really at his best
when he is on stage. He loves the
attention and really concentrates
on giving the audience an entertaining,
exciting and unforgettable performance.
As far as Bobby
is concerned, he is the future of
Hip-Hop music.
